PROPOSED ELLISON PROVINCIAL PARK EXPANSION
There is an opportunity right now to expand Ellison Provincial Park. There are four crown owned parcels just to the south of the park that could be added to the park right now, with a change of status to provincial park. I know it's not a simple process, but with the political will, Ellison Provincial Park could be doubled in size, enhancing the protection of the area's wildlife habitat, plus increasing the much needed park land.

PROPOSED PARKS IN LAKE COUNTRY COMMONAGE
Commonage Preservation Alliance wishes to continue the work of preserving a large percentage of the entire Commonage.  Additionally to the work being done in the City of Vernon and RDNO's jurisdiction of the northern part of the Commonage, there is much work to preserve the special habitat and wildlife in the Lake Country portion of the Commonage.
